Mandar Deo has been appointed as President – India at JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., a leading Indian tyre manufacturer known for its strong presence across passenger, commercial, and industrial tyre segments. The company continues to expand its footprint in domestic and global markets with a strong focus on innovation, manufacturing excellence, and sustainable mobility solutions.
Before joining JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Mr Mandar Deo served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Exide Energy Solutions Ltd, where he was responsible for launching and scaling advanced lithium-ion cell and battery manufacturing operations. He also held senior leadership roles at Cummins Inc. and Cummins India, driving large-scale business transformation, supply chain integration, and high-horsepower business leadership across global markets.
He holds an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a PhD in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Penn State University. His strong academic foundation complements his extensive global leadership experience across manufacturing, engineering, and energy sectors.
With this appointment, Mandar Deo is expected to bring strategic depth and operational excellence to JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., strengthening its India operations and driving the next phase of growth in the mobility and automotive industry.
